In the twilight of my stoning...
In the twilight of my stoning
chips of sounds and shades
of rainbow, chirpy giggles,
fanta-stories, nimble ghosts
and unrepressed erections
and unrepressed erections
and yes, almost forgot,
how could I ever? Gerald
Scarfe's Long Drawn-Out Trip...

Far from uniform
A POINT OF VIEW http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/magazine/10575471.stm
In both the US and UK, civilian leaders have the upper hand over the military - but the two countries have very different attitudes to veterans reaching the top, says David Cannadine in his Point of View column.
